Learning Disability - Charles Schwab
Here it is - Schwab Learning, funded by the Charles and Helen Schwab Foundation,
providing support and resources to families and their children with learning disabilities, and also encouragement.
Charles Schwab and his son both have dyslexia. Each month, the Foundation helps about 1000 families:
A Parent's Guide to Helping Kids with Learning Difficulties
In February 2000, he wrote a
letter to the Editor of The Wall Street Journal "The ‘Invisible Disability’"
arguing for the need to have accomodations on standardized tests for students with reading disabilities.
