Ciao Giovanni come stai? So you went by my parents' house and you didn't stop in! Ma che vergogna! Just kidding :-) ....it would have blown my parents and my sisters away. I truly believe that this reunion thing was and continues to be a very fun and healthy process. I am hoping to see some of our fellow grads while I'm in Montreal for the holidays. So do you use a bit of a brit accent when you're out and about in London? As usual, I read the Wife of Bath's Tale from Chaucer's Canterbury Tales with my grade 9 students this year...and I was again shocked to realize that Middle and Old English spelling kind of explains the brit accent to some degree! Of course the brits think WE have the accent. But what do they know!

just a quick note to say that the reunion was exceptional.....it is a real pity for those who chose to or were unable to attend. Will be posting a few more bits when i return to London this week.

Hi John, It's been a very long time since we were in school together. I wanted to mention that a couple of years back there was a Formula One Racing Event in Montreal - and you were interviewed on TV. I caught that interview! I was caught by surprise to see you on TV after all those years. Giovanni Ferri is not a name we forget easy, especially since we go back to grade school together. By the way, that was great interview you gave!
John, since you seem to be out of town, I'm not sure if you're going to make the reunion. If I don't see you, I'd like to wish you all the best in what you do. And who knows, maybe one day we'll cross paths somewhere. |
