Neurodiversity is bound to come – but it will take some time. Reminds me of that quote by Schopenhauer about truth:<\/p>\n

And then people are going to go – ‘oh yeah, neurodiversity, sure, not all brains are wired the same, or develop in the same way,\u00a0and vive la difference. We’re not all the same, nor are we meant to be. Autistics just need the right kind of support and understanding. Some diagnosed autistics never were autistics. They had other problems, which confused the whole issue. But thankfully autism is better understood today. ‘ Until\u00a0that day comes, autistics and their supporters will speak out.<\/p>\n

IS AUTISM A PLAGUE?

Further, there is no worrying increase in autism: this is not justified by epidemiology.
