TRYING ON DRESSES

The first one I tried was too short
Wearing it would have brought me into court

The next one was too long
And looked awfully wrong

The other reached not around my chest
In the following I did not look my best
In the next I looked too old
In another one too bold

After trying the last my hair looked a mess
Now I felt very much in distress

Why can't the law be amended
So we can walk around as nature has intended?
